A reservation request or 15-minute inventory hold may be withdrawn without charge before Wavy sends confirmation and accepts a confirmation payment.
Wavy refunds rental payments received, less only payment-processing costs actually retained by the processor and disclosed in the refund statement.
The confirmation payment is retained. Any rental balance already collected is refunded. Approved date changes may avoid cancellation if fleet capacity remains available.
The scheduled rental charge may be retained because the vehicle, inspection and delivery capacity were committed. Taxes or optional items not supplied are refunded when required.
A card dispute does not itself cancel delivery. Nothing here limits lawful cardholder or consumer-reporting rights.
Voluntary early return, discomfort with an otherwise safe vehicle, itinerary changes or a renter’s loss of eligibility do not automatically create a refund. Wavy may approve a credit in writing, but silence is not approval.
If delivery cannot occur because the renter is unreachable, required documents are incomplete, payment or authorization fails, or property access information was inaccurate, the less-than-24-hour rule applies unless Wavy agrees otherwise.
Weather alone does not automatically cancel. Stop riding in lightning, flooding, dangerous wind or poor visibility. If Wavy suspends use or retrieves the cart for safety, unused time is reviewed under the company-interruption rule.
For evacuation orders, government closures or comparable events that make performance illegal or impossible, Wavy may offer a date credit or refund unearned rental charges. Non-waivable law controls.
Nothing in this policy eliminates a cancellation, refund or notice right that applicable law does not permit the parties to waive. Georgia’s Attorney General explains that some transactions initiated through face-to-face contact away from a merchant’s regular place of business can carry a statutory cancellation right, while many entirely online or telephone transactions do not. Wavy Rentals, LLC reports that Georgia counsel approved the current policy set; the company retains responsibility for applying any required statutory notice to the facts of an individual transaction.
