Cancel 72 or more hours before delivery for a refund of eligible rental payments received, less only processing costs actually retained. From 24–72 hours, Wavy retains 25% of the rental subtotal as the cancellation charge and refunds the remaining eligible rental payment. Inside 24 hours or for a no-show, the rental charge is generally nonrefundable, subject to non-waivable law and the company-cancellation and service-failure terms.

We deliver to approved hotels, resorts, homes and vacation rentals on St. Simons Island. The booking flow validates the address and asks for gate, host and parking details.

Not always. After identity, agreement and payment requirements are complete, a contactless golf-cart handoff may be available at an approved private property. The stand-up electric scooter and e-moped require an in-person control, route and safety orientation.

Park the ride at the agreed property location, remove personal belongings, lock it, and upload an optional return photo. We collect it during the pickup window shown in your dashboard.

Glynn County legally classifies this type of registered golf cart as a Personal Transportation Vehicle, or PTV. It may use eligible public streets posted at 25 mph or less, but not sidewalks, bike paths, the causeway or state-system roads. Use the official county map and your trip route guide.

County law requires a valid driver’s license and a minimum age of 16. Wavy’s rental policy requires the primary renter and each approved driver to be at least 21.

Every rider needs a designated seat and seat belt. Children under eight need a properly installed child restraint unless they meet the county’s stated weight or height exceptions. The renter provides and installs the child seat.

Only on the Wavy-approved route. Glynn County permits qualifying single-rider electric play vehicles on county shared-use paths at no more than 15 mph unless signs are stricter. Yield to pedestrians and walk the scooter on the restricted Mallery Street sidewalks in Pier Village.

Yes. Wavy includes a properly sized helmet and requires every rider to wear it. The stand-up scooter is for one approved adult only—no passengers.

Every rental includes a 10-foot stand-up paddleboard, adjustable paddle, properly fitted life jacket and board leash, plus free delivery and pickup at an approved St. Simons Island address. The handoff also covers the board, current conditions, approved launch plan and return instructions.

The published rate is $45 for four hours or $60 for 24 hours. Free delivery and pickup in the approved service area are included. Your itemized reservation shows the rental price, fixed 7% Georgia sales tax and separate untaxed temporary damage authorization before confirmation.

Only at the approved launch area and within the route and conditions confirmed for the reservation. East Beach and Gould’s Inlet are established St. Simons paddleboarding areas, but tide, current, wind, surf, weather alerts, beach warnings, closures and paddler experience determine whether a location is suitable at a particular time.

Wavy requires the supplied, properly fitted life jacket to be worn and fastened whenever the paddleboard is on the water. The Coast Guard treats a stand-up paddleboard used beyond a swimming, surfing or bathing area as a vessel for life-jacket carriage purposes, and Georgia imposes additional requirements for children. Wavy’s rental rule is intentionally simpler and stricter: wear it.

A beginner may be comfortable in calm, protected conditions after practicing on shore and starting on their knees, but an unguided rental is not a lesson or guided tour. First-time paddlers should avoid surf, strong current, offshore wind, thunderstorms, darkness and crowded water. Wavy may decline or relocate a handoff when conditions or experience do not support safe independent use.

Yes, when the property allows the equipment and has a safe approved delivery and storage location. Wavy provides free delivery and pickup across the approved St. Simons service area; the board must not be left on a beach, dune, public access, sidewalk or other unsecured public location overnight.

The Wavy e-moped is a single-rider electric ride with a wide saddle, 60V 20Ah battery and hydraulic disc brakes. The product listing states a 20 mph maximum and up to 35 miles per charge; actual range varies with rider, route, wind, speed, temperature and battery condition.

Yes for a Wavy rental. Its published speed, two-wheel design and automatic electric configuration align with Georgia’s low-power moped definition, so Wavy applies the stricter moped rules: an approved license, one adult rider and a DOT-compliant helmet.

Only where the reservation-specific Wavy guide permits. Glynn County separately allows qualifying single-rider electric play vehicles on approved shared-use paths at up to 15 mph, while the e-moped’s specifications also align with Georgia moped rules. Wavy applies the stricter rule whenever classifications, signs or routes overlap. Never ride on the beach or restricted Mallery Street sidewalks.

Yes. The e-moped rental includes a DOT-compliant helmet, lock, charger and an in-person control, charging, path and road orientation.

No. The temporary card authorization is $500 for a golf cart and $100 for a stand-up electric scooter or paddleboard. Stripe securely saves the selected payment method and Wavy schedules the authorization close to delivery. Wavy releases an unused authorization after return review; the card issuer controls when available funds visibly return.

Wavy sends an itemized notice with available supporting evidence. Reply through the booking-linked support channel within seven calendar days with contrary photos, facts or documents. Cardholder, insurance and regulatory rights remain available.

Stop riding when conditions are unsafe. Weather alone does not automatically cancel a reservation, but our team can help with a safe pickup or availability-based date adjustment.

Use the Help button in My Trips. We triage safety issues immediately and can dispatch assistance or a replacement during service hours. Do not continue operating an unsafe vehicle.

No. None of our vehicles may be used on the beach. PTVs cannot use the St. Simons Causeway and are restricted to eligible local roads shown on the county map.
